Last of the individual workshops – I can’t believe time has flown so fast! No translators, an amalgamation of writing + drawing + drama games, and a visit to Gowry’s house.
Transportation was jinxed this week, but everything sorted itself out in the nick of time in every case. This week, the kids decorated their personal files, played more Fruit Bowl and Dog and the Bone, and were introduced to the Mirror Game.
In which we get in touch with our emotions, learn to identify when we feel joy, sadness, fear, anger, and surprise, and figure out what our faces look like when we feel this way.
This week’s workshop was a wonderful closing session before Ramazan break, and includes relay games, Colombian Hypnosis, and making shapes in teams. I also had an incredible conversation on the way home with Nanthar – I understood about half of it, and recorded here are the bits I remember!
Today’s workshop was fulls of hiccups, embarrassments, awkward moments, uncomfortable revelations, and (in retrospect) the incredible realisation that somehow, despite it all, things come together in bizarre ways. I’m grateful.
